Darum stellen wir uns entschlossen gegen Rassismus, Antifeminismus, jegliche Form von Antisemitismus, Homo- und Transphobie, sowie Verschw\u00f6rungsmythen und andere Unterdr\u00fcckungs\u00admechanismen. Wir supporten emanzipative linke, soziale und kulturelle Projekte\u2013 oft unter finanziellen Einbu\u00dfen.<br><br><strong>Wir sind \u201enur\u201c eine Band, keine politische Organisation. <\/strong><br><br><strong><em>Trotzdem ist alles, was wir tun, politisch:<\/em> <\/strong><br>Unsere Musik soll R\u00e4ume \u00f6ffnen, in denen Menschen diskutieren, sich verb\u00fcnden und voneinander lernen. Wir stehen der \u00dcbertragung dogmatischer politischer Standards aus innerlinken Diskursen auf Kunst- und Konzertkultur kritisch gegen\u00fcber &#8211; unsere Aufgabe sehen wir darin R\u00e4ume f\u00fcr Verbindung und Austausch zu schaffen, nicht ideologische H\u00fcrden zu erf\u00fcllen. Trotzdem sind f\u00fcr uns \u00fcber Jahre erk\u00e4mpfte Mindeststandards f\u00fcr uns eine Selbstverst\u00e4ndlichkeit und m\u00fcssen gesch\u00fctzt werden.<br><br><strong>Mit wachsender Sorge<\/strong> sehen wir nun, dass auch in linken Kontexten autorit\u00e4re Haltungen und altbekannte l\u00e4ngst \u00fcberholt geglaubte Feindbilder Hochkonjunktur bekommen und dabei sind emanzipative R\u00e4ume mit autoritarismus zu besetzen. Begriffe und Symbole, die wir bisher vor allem von rechts kannten, werden pl\u00f6tzlich normalisiert und benutzt, um &#8222;andere&#8220;unliebsame&#8220; linke Projekte oder Bands zu anzugreifen und zu diffamieren. <br><br><strong>Gerade in Zeiten<\/strong>, in denen der Rechtsruck in der Welt un\u00fcbersehbar ist &#8230; erobern nun neue (alte) autorit\u00e4re Gruppen und Ideologien erk\u00e4mpfte linke R\u00e4ume und bedienen eine neue Sehnsucht nach &#8222;Eindeutigkeit&#8220;. Diese Entwicklung schw\u00e4cht aus unserer Sicht massiv emanzipatorische Bewegungen und verkl\u00e4ren die Sicht auf komplexe Zusammenh\u00e4nge mit ihren Vereinfachungen.<br><br><strong>Wir wolle<\/strong>n dass es weiterhin gemeinsame R\u00e4ume und M\u00f6glichkeiten gibt f\u00fcr eine Welt ohne Faschismus, autorit\u00e4re Strukturen und Unterdr\u00fcckung einzustehen. Wir w\u00fcnschen uns eine Zeit, in der emanzipative Bewegungen nicht durch interne Spaltungen und Dogmatismus geschw\u00e4cht werden und ein Guts Pie Earshot-Konzert ein Ort ist und bleibt um Kraft zu sch\u00f6pfen und solidarisch zusammenzustehen. <br><br><strong>By the way:<\/strong> Nationalflaggen und nationale Symbole bleiben bei unseren Shows drau\u00dfen. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-small-font-size\" style=\"background-color:#f5f2f8\"><strong>What We Stand For<\/strong><br><br><strong>For more than 30 years<\/strong> we\u2019ve embodied an emancipatory, antifascist, antiracist and firmly antiauthoritarian practice. That\u2019s why we take an unequivocal stand against racism, antifeminism, every form of antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, conspiracy myths and all other mechanisms of oppression. We back emancipatory left-wing, social and cultural projects\u2014often at our own financial expense.<br><br><strong>Yes, we\u2019re \u201cjust\u201d a band, not a political organization.<\/strong><br>Still, everything we do is political: our music is meant to open spaces where people debate, connect and learn from one another. We\u2019re critical of dragging dogmatic standards from intra-left debates into art and concert culture\u2014our job is to build spaces for exchange, not to set up ideological hurdles. At the same time, minimum standards that were hard-won over decades are non-negotiable and must be defended.<br><br><strong>With growing concern<\/strong> we now see authoritarian attitudes and outdated enemy images gaining traction even in left-wing contexts, as emancipatory spaces are colonized by authoritarianism. Terms and symbols we used to know mainly from the far right are suddenly being normalized and weaponized to smear or attack \u201cinconvenient\u201d leftist projects and bands.<br><br><strong>Precisely while a global shift to the right is impossible to miss<\/strong>, new (old) authoritarian groups and ideologies are pushing into hard-won leftist spaces, feeding a fresh hunger for \u201csimple certainties.\u201d In our view, this massively weakens emancipatory movements and obscures complex realities with crude simplifications.<br><br><strong>We want to keep creating common spaces<\/strong>\u2014and possibilities\u2014to stand up for a world free of fascism, authoritarian structures and oppression.
